From: genewardsmith (2010-09-27) Subject: Jubilismic and Archytas temperaments While most rank three temperaments are planar, there are exceptions, with jubilismic, tempering out 50/49, being one of them. As an example to show that hobbits are defined for non-planar temperaments also, I give Jubilismic[10] below, and by way of comparison, or something, also Archytas[12], tempering out 64/63. All scales are strictly proper. ! jubilismic10.scl Jubilismic[10] (50/49) hobbit minimax tuning 10 ! 101.95500 222.43019 377.56981 498.04500 600.00000 701.95500 822.43019 977.56981 1098.04500 1200.00000 ! ! ! prejubilismic10.scl ! There has been a lot going on in my family recently. I may have some time today.
