Note the functional "minor thirds" (occuring as 2nds in 6 modes and as a
3rd in 1 mode), "minor sevenths" (as 8ths in 4 modes and as 9ths in 3),
"major sevenths" (as 9ths in 7 modes), and the remarkable 11:8's, mistuned
by less than 3 cents (again occuring in 7 out of 10 modes between two scale
degrees).
