I notice the flat octaves.

The flat octaves are Gene's idea, really. He just convinced me to try them out. And they work well. So far I've only given them a fair shake on synths -- to put them on a piano, I'm thinking beat rates must be used (I'm currently working on a bearing plan). The trines with brats of +2 are my doing, though it was Gene who pointed out that because of the flat octaves making good triadic brats in one octave won't transfer to other octaves, and therefore that trinic brats were a good idea. By the way, I don't know if I ever published Alaska7. It's definitely my best circulating flat-octaves tuning. ! So, with stuff that's SATB at heart, and avoiding parallel perfects... this should be a very mellow and consonant tuning, nice.
